Hello families of our soon-to-be-kindergartens!

You are invited to attend a special kindergarten parent meeting from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, May 21st in the kindergarten classroom Mrs. Stephenson and Mrs. Thurmeier will share information about the school, the kindergarten program, what you can do to ensure your child gets off to a great start in the fall and answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for supporting the SNSCC Step into Spring Fundraiser! A total of $5450 in gift cards were sold and a profit of $1090 will go directly toward the SNSCC Playground Project.

We have been fortunate to have been able to book an additional day with the Tour for Humanity bus, so you will see the big blue bus in town once again on Wednesday, April 22. Community members are welcome to join in on sessions, simply give us a call at the school for session times and topics. Please keep in mind that the sessions are geared for grade 3 and up, some of them grades 6 and up, so not a great fit for any who are younger than that.

Unfortunately the event has been cancelled due to low registration numbers.

Thank you to all of our families for supporting our Scholastic Book Fair! Your enthusiasm and purchases helped make it a wonderful success. We are excited to share that total sales reached $2,006.75, which earned $471.59 in free books for our school library. These new resources will benefit all of our students—thank you for helping us grow our collection!

Congratulations to Emerson for correctly guessing the number of gummy worms (113)! Congratulations as well to Addison and Axton for winning the chocolates and gift cards.

Dear Families,

In support of the Regina Humane Society, this year’s charity of choice, the SLC has chosen to make enrichment toys for the shelter animals and are looking for donations of items needed for us to do so. We are gathering the following items until April 2:

-clean bottle/ milk lids
-newspapers/flyers
-clean individual socks or socks you no longer use
-extra pipe cleaners around the house
-clean but old hand/bath towels

Interested students will have the opportunity to assemble the toys after the Easter break, more details will follow.
