Our Christmas Concert performances will take place at 1:15pm and 7:00pm on Tuesday, December 16. Doors will open to the community at 1:00 for the afternoon performance. In the evening, we ask that our cast and crew members from Grade 7/8 arrive at school at 6:30pm. They will enter the school through the door in the Before and After classroom. All other students should arrive and enter through the back doors at 6:45 and then go directly to their classrooms. The front doors will open to the community at 6:50. Looking forward to seeing you there!

The SNSCC will be hosting a silver collection before both performances to support the playground enhancements.

Thanks to everyone who donated socks to this year's Toasty Toes campaign. We collected 149 pairs this year.

Please help the SNSCC spread some Christmas cheer by making a card for a family who are in the hospital over the holidays. Blank cards are being sent home today and are due back Wednesday, December 10th.

All proceeds will go towards the school playground enhancement project.

Thanks to your generous support, the SNSCC was able to raise $3789.89 at the Fowl Supper and $2263.77 through the Mom's Pantry fundraiser. All proceeds will go towards the new playground.

The Scholastic Book Fair is this week and it’s gonna be epic! Hundreds of books! Choose the titles, characters, and authors YOU love. The Book Fair ends Thursday, November 27th and you don’t want to miss it. Come to the library from 3:45-7:30 pm on Wednesday, November 26th and Thursday, November 27th. Your story starts here!

Our wonderful SCC has planned a BBQ fun lunch day on Thursday, November 27th. All orders are due November 21st and MUST be completed online. No cash orders will be accepted. A confirmation email will be sent to your inbox after placing your order. Please look in your junk/spam for one.

- Apple OR Mandarin Orange

- Juice Box

- Additional Hamburgers/Hotdogs can be ordered, if you anticipate your child eating more than one.

We have accepted a challenge from Pense School to see who can read more books during the month of November. Books can be read at home or at school, but must be age-appropriate (ex: picture books for grades 4 to 8 will not count toward the total); graphic novels are acceptable.

In order to count toward the total, students must complete a short book review for each book read. These forms are available from the classroom teachers and in the library. Once the book review is complete, it can be dropped off in the library in the box marked book reviews.

The winning school will display the book trophy and bragging rights! Let’s get reading, Tigers!

On Wednesday, November 26 at 1 pm, students in grades 1 to 4 will be having a visit with local author Trina Markusson. Students are asked to bring a small stuffie to school that day as part of the presentation. Guests are welcome to join us!
